The Slab is Poured!!!!

Our Little Princess-a Righty

The Ghanaian Princess-a Lefty

Brother-a Lefty
Big Sister-a Righty

We are in the process of building our dream home on 10 acres. We have lived in the same small 'starter' house since we got married almost 13 years ago. We are literally bursting at the seams in our little home. I remember telling Tony that when we were planning baby #2, we would definitely need to find a bigger home before they started toddling around. Then when talk of baby #3 started, we would for sure move before they were born. Well if you haven't figured out yet there are now SIX people living in the house that I thought was too small for 2 adults and 2 little ones. I have truly loved the closeness our house provides (not that there really is an alternative). However, I am really looking forward to a shower by myself without the rotating door, my little darlings all feel the urge to pee and other things while Mom is in the bathroom!

We checked the kids out of school early so they could put their hand prints in the garage floor (the garage floor that is BIGGER than our current house). It has really been fun to experience this highly anticipated moment as a family. And of course, as another 'milestone' in the building process has been achieved-the weather people are saying we are about to be hit by another storm. SERIOUSLY?!?!? Let's hope the framers can start on Monday!

Little things mean a lot. Very exciting for them. I know the entire family is excited to be a part of building your new home.
